I have three degrees in chemical engineering. I am a licensed professional engineer in Texas.
I am passionate about math and science. I love to teach high school and college students and make a difference in their lives. I received my education from the top institute in India-the Indian Institute of Technology. The Entrance Exam for this institute is arguably the toughest in the world.
Although I could choose several other part time jobs, I chose this because of the passion I have in solving problems in math and science, triggered during my preparation of the Entrance Exam for the Indian Institute of Technology. As I enjoy this the most, I chose this work.
I have always been great in Math since my childhood and I enjoy solving problems. I love to teach math and science, especially those tricky problems that require sharp acumen and those that give a good 'feel' when you solve it!!!
If I am able to improve my students' skills and enable them to score higher in the competitive exams, I would consider it worth my time in this endeavor!
My teaching philosophy is to make students understand the concept and not just learn how to solve a problem routinely!
And most importantly, have fun in the process!!!
