Having worked in the education field for over 20 years, I have truly found my passion in working with high school age students for the past 13 years and truly enjoy my life learning from them. High School students bring so much energy and passion into their work, whether it is academic, extra-curricular or an after-school job. Having worked in the education field for over 20 years, I have truly found my passion in working with high school age students for the past 13 years and truly enjoy my life learning from them. High School students bring so much energy and passion into their work, whether it is academic, extra-curricular or an after-school job. They are always on a mission and ready to let you know what that mission is; sometimes, you have to read between the lines, but that’s what makes my work exciting! They keep me on my toes, wanting to learn more, so that I can give them more.

I have attended several universities, as I traveled with my husband in the Army for seven years, while I pursued my degree. I began my quest for education at Stephen F. Austin University, in Nacogdoches, Texas. Then I attended Wharton County Junior College, where I earned an Associates in Liberal Studies degree. From there, I attended Barstow Community College in Barstow, California and took correspondence classes from the University of Arkansas and Southwestern Adventist University. I also attended University of Maryland – Germany and, finally, graduated with a Bachelor’s in Liberal Studies from California Baptist University. I received my alternative teaching certification from I Teach Texas. And, after a few years, returned to the university where I began and earned my Masters in Educational Leadership with Principal Certification.

Currently, I teach English 4 for an online public school. I look forward to working with you and your child. Please feel free to contact me for more information. Thank you!

I have worked with students of all ages. Just recently I tutored a 2nd grader in math, reading, writing, spelling and science. My daughter is currently a 5th grader and I have worked closely with her to maintain good study habits and maintain focus.

knowledgable and Patient tutor

We asked Jennifer with Wring assignments for English II for my daughter. She is really good with Subject Matter and Knowledgeable how to lay down the writing Prompt for my high school kid to be able to follow them through. She is very flexible with timing and would recommend her for sure.
