I'm Pearl! I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and am a dental student at the University of Texas School of Dentistry. My academic background is rooted in science and math, with strengths in biology, chemistry, algebra, and test preparation. As a future dentist, I have taken the Dental Admissions Test (DAT) and earned a competitive score, giving me strong content knowledge (in all the sections of the exam), effective study strategies, and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and efficiently.

I have over 3 years of college-level tutoring and teaching experience where I started as a peer tutor providing one-on-one and small-group support in algebra and various Chemistry and Biology courses. I was later promoted to a Supplemental Instructor for General Biology and Molecular Biology, where I led large-group review sessions, reinforced course material, and worked closely with faculty to support student success.

I have taught students aged approximately 15 to 30, including first-year students and adult learners returning to school.
