Hi, I’m Tanvi! I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Communications and Business, and later earned my master’s in Social-Organizational Psychology from Columbia University this year. While at Columbia, I served as a teaching assistant and held the role of Director of Alumni Affairs, where I facilitated meaningful connections between students and alumni. I also took courses in adult learning, which strengthened my understanding of how to create effective and engaging educational experiences for learners at all stages.

My professional journey includes over five years of experience in the tech industry, specifically in sales, where I discovered a passion for mentoring and helping others grow both personally and professionally. During my time at Cisco, I was actively involved in mentoring colleagues and new hires — experiences that sharpened my ability to break down complex topics into practical, relatable concepts.

I bring this same approach to tutoring, ensuring that sessions are hands-on, patient, and tailored to each student’s unique learning style. My goal is to make Psychology not only understandable but also engaging and applicable to real-life situations.
