I am currently a second-year student at Baylor University in their highly competitive BS/MD program, majoring in Public Health. As the first person in my family to attend college in the United States, I am passionate about helping others excel in higher education or reach their alternative educational goals. Whether it's mastering foundational skills to thrive in advanced coursework or excelling in AP classes to earn college credit, I love sharing strategies that empower students to achieve their academic goals.
I have about 3–4 years of experience teaching and tutoring elementary to middle school students in subjects such as piano, competition math, and K–6 foundational academic skills, primarily in one-on-one private tutoring settings. I also have experience volunteering to teach high school-level geometry. These roles have helped me develop a flexible and student-centered approach, focused on understanding each learner’s individual needs and tailoring lessons accordingly.
My own journey has taught me that success in education is not just about knowledge but also about finding the right tools and strategies for learning. I believe that every student can reach their full potential with the right guidance, and I take great pride in helping students identify their strengths and build upon them.
