I am currently a doctoral student in pursuit of a doctoral degree in education and I am currently maintaining a 3.0 GPA. I have also accomplished a master's in business management. I will be completing my ELAR Teachers certification soon. I am currently working as an educator in charter school classroom settings for the past 4 years, tutoring elementary age students in the subject of English with a focus on reading, and vocabulary. my teaching responsibilities also includes tutoring small groups of students and individual tutoring as well.
During my undergraduate and graduate studies, I had the privilege of being mentored by some very good Teachers and Professors who were very patient and went over and above the call of duty to ensure that I am keeping the academic standards required to reach my educational goals, and I am willing to do the same for my students.

My teaching methods includes guided practice strategy, differentiated instructions and tailoring lessons completely to an individual student's need, by analyzing the student's strength and weaknesses and use it to create a targeted learning plan with the student's goal in mind. My teaching strategies effectively help's students to meet the learning criteria for success and better able to understand the learning objectives such as what the students should know at the end of each lesson. I remain open to questions and feedback, and I feel very satisfied whenever I know that I have helped a student to accomplish their academic goals using best practices.
