Hello! I’m Semiha. My study field is in Biomedical Engineering. I’d say the reason why I wanted to do tutoring was for the connections I was able to build and the fact that being able to see the progress in people genuinely made me proud of them and made me want to do more for the people.

I’ve been tutoring a variety of different student from elementary to high schoolers and even college students. I had started out small by volunteering at a summer school as an assistant teacher in teaching Arabic letters and their grammar. Later on, I was able to meet an online organization that taught variety of different subjects to students from all over the world, in which I have taught English and its grammar for around a year. That opportunity taught me how to make lesson plans and what to focus on in each individual student. That’s where I met some of my high school and college students. I had then wished to work in a school environment and was hired as an outside tutor to help middle schoolers in general math. Most of the time, I pulled 4-5 students out of class to individually teach them the subjects which they did not thrive in. Other times, I helped the whole class. Turkish is also my native language, which is why I am confident that any and all questions you may have on Turkish, I’d be able to answer them. Could be grammar, pronunciation, and even history. Just let me know before the actual class though.

I wish to help any person that wants to achieve their goals and dreams, and through my experience, I’m confident that anyone who puts mind to anything can make it work. I’m easy to reach and will try my best to respond to any and all questions as fast as I can. I also love student feedback so don’t be afraid to give your opinion on matters.
