Hi! I'm a Computer Science graduate from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth (Master's GPA: 3.91) with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science as well. Over the past several years, I've discovered that while I enjoy solving difficult problems, I enjoy helping others understand them even more.
Teaching has been a constant throughout my academic journey. At UMass , I worked as a Teaching Assistant for four courses, Lab Assistant for two courses, Grader, and Teaching Fellow. These roles earned me a full tuition waiver for three semesters, recognizing both my academic performance and my contributions to teaching.
I served as the primary instructor for Object-Oriented Programming with Java II. I taught lectures, designed assignments and examinations, conducted exams, and graded student work. Most of my students were undergraduate Computer Science majors (ages 17–22), giving me extensive experience explaining technical concepts in a classroom setting as well as during one-on-one office hours.
Beyond Computer Science, I've always had a strong academic foundation in mathematics and science. I graduated with a 4.0 GPA through Grade 10, earned state ranks in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, and was recognized as a Math Olympiad Scholar (Grade 6) and Chemistry Olympiad Scholar (Grade 8).
I also scored 164/170 on the GRE Quantitative section with no preparation.
But credentials only tell part of the story.
I've genuinely loved teaching since I was a child. Whether it was helping classmates before exams or mentoring students during office hours, I've always found satisfaction in watching someone go from pressure to pleasure.
Because , when you learn with fun ; you never forget the lesson!
Outside of academics, I'm an experienced public speaker, having participated in debates, drama, hosting events, and delivering speeches. This experience has helped me become a clear and confident communicator.
Trying to build confidence in Math and CS? I would love to help you reach your goals.
