During my time in college, I had the privilege of mentoring and tutoring my peers, an experience I thoroughly enjoyed. I realized that the most engaging classes were those where professors genuinely cared about teaching and supporting students. This reinforced my belief that everyone has unique learning styles, and with consistency and a personalized approach, anyone can succeed. When I tutor, I always keep this in mind, tailoring my methods to each student’s needs.
I have one year of experience teaching and tutoring Arabic, where I led classes of 10-15 elementary and middle school students, as well as provided one-on-one tutoring. Additionally, I volunteered at an after-school program assisting international students in adjusting to life in the U.S. I helped them improve their English and develop effective study skills to complete their homework.
I prioritize creating a comfortable environment where students feel confident and motivated, making learning both enjoyable and effective.
