My name is Barri M. I have a PhD. I have been an instructor for over eight years in online and traditional University settings. I teach for five different universities across the country and hold a Biblical worldview. My father raised me with the idea to always have an education on which to fall back. In 1985, I earned a Master's of Business Administration. In 2003, I completed the requirements for a PhD in the field of Biblical studies. With hard work, you can earn any degree that you desire.

I am an example of one person whose life was changed with education. Education changes the direction of your life. Every sacrifice that you make (except for family), will be worth it when you attain your desired degree or field of study. It would be my humble honor to tutor you. I welcome your questions. I earned my PhD in Biblical studies in 2003. I have been teaching for over 11 years at the college level. In addition, I am the author of three books on the Hebrew names of God. My husband and I travel world-wide teaching on a vast array of Biblical topics.

My lessons are interactive and specialized to YOUR specific needs. Some students need help spelling; others need help with conversation. Yet others need help within the corporate environment. I realize how challenging it can be to not communicate. One woman who takes lessons from me was promoted after four weeks of being with me! I have completed my doctoral work and have a PhD in biblical studies. I did actually have to have a working knowledge of Greek in order to get my doctorate. My academic chair was one of my instructors and guided me through the process, as I have never had a Greek language class in my life. Biblical Greek is much different than conversational Greek, and I do have a working knowledge of Biblical Greek.

I am an author of three devotional books on the Hebrew names of God. I bring forth Hebrew into the Sunday school classroom as well every Sunday at Mount Paran Church of God.

As I have been a college educator for years, I am adept at spelling and proof-reading. Good grammar and paragraph construction make or break a good assignment. If a student needs to adhere to APA formats, I can give assistance in that area as well.

I have been an adult Sunday school teacher at a church here in Atlanta for 10 years. I speak weekly to a group of 25 to 30 adults. In addition, I teach in a traditional face-to-face venue here in Atlanta at a local university. I have spoken at conferences, both nationally and internationally. In addition, I have also been a volunteer for an organization that did Taping for the blind. That helped me tremendously as I needed to enunciate properly.

It is an honor to help people learn to read. I work with students from age 8 the senior adult. For the younger students, we work through a reading system. The young students have a book room and I work with them in their reading. As they complete a book, they can take a short quiz that determines reading comprehension. The reading plan is graduated so they can see their own accomplishments. This is a wonderful reward tool for the student. I have used this system for international students to improve their reading as well. Learning is always a two-way street between the instructor and the student. It is my joy to help students of all ages learn to read better.

In 2003, I earned a PhD in biblical studies. I have been a university online instructor since 2006, focusing on many religious subjects. Although I was raised in a Jewish home, I came to faith in Jesus in 1980. I bring that background into my teaching in a balanced approach.

In addition, I currently teach college students, and have been an English teacher. Preparation for the SAT is the best way for a student to know the expectations. In the 21st-century, as a college instructor, I have taught Organizational governance, Health policy and Economic analysis as well as other classes that deal with the general topic of social studies. I have been a College instructor at the college level, both undergraduate and graduate levels, subjects have included business and leadership ethics. These classes deal with the issues of governmental policy, thus encompassing the broad range of Social studies within Federal and state policy.

I have worked with college students at all levels - undergraduate, graduate and doctoral. I am a good coach and know how to encourage students to achieve. My favorite coach was Tom Landry.
