I am an award-winning screenwriter, college professor, technology educator, and former championship track-and-field athlete. I hold a master’s degree in video production and film and have more than 25 years of professional and teaching experience. Throughout my career, I have taught students with different experience levels in the classroom, laboratory, workshop, and one-on-one settings. My tutoring style is patient, practical, and encouraging, with lessons tailored to each student’s goals and preferred learning style.

As a college screenwriting professor, I teach students how to develop story ideas, create memorable characters, write effective dialogue, structure scenes, and format screenplays in accordance with professional standards. I also won first place in a scriptwriting competition in 2024. I can help beginning writers understand the fundamentals, guide students through school assignments, or provide constructive feedback to writers revising scripts for production or submission. I explain not only what should be changed, but why the change will make the story stronger.

I also tutor beginning and intermediate Mac users. I have used Mac computers throughout my career in education, video production, writing, and digital content creation. I provide calm, step-by-step instruction in Mac navigation, applications, settings, file organization, internet use, and everyday troubleshooting. My goal is to help students understand their computers and become confident enough to complete tasks independently.

My track-and-field instruction is grounded in championship-level experience. I was undefeated in the 100-meter and 300-meter hurdles from my sophomore through senior years of high school. In college, I became an Ivy League indoor hurdles champion and earned All-Ivy honors for two consecutive years. I also won a national championship while competing in summer track. I can help develop athletes improve hurdling and racing technique, race strategy, speed, confidence, and preparation for competition.
