Hi! My name is Brooke, and I have spent the last five years helping high school students prepare for the SAT, PSAT, ACT, Algebra I, and Algebra II. During that time, I have worked with more than 100 students and accumulated over 2,000 hours of one-on-one tutoring experience. I earned a 1480 SAT score, qualified as a National Merit Scholar, and received a full-tuition scholarship in large part because of my SAT performance. I am currently completing my degree at Harding University.

I am also the founder of Henry College Prep, an SAT tutoring company built around personalized instruction and strategy-based learning. Over the years, I have developed my own SAT curriculum, created a practice platform with targeted lessons and quizzes, and trained additional tutors to teach using the same methods. My students have achieved an average score increase of more than 200 points.
My teaching philosophy is simple: strategy first, then content. Many students know more than they think they do—they just struggle to recognize what a question is really asking. Rather than teaching students to memorize hundreds of rules, I focus on helping them identify patterns, visual cues, and common question types that point to the most effective strategy. This approach helps students work faster, make fewer mistakes, and build confidence.
I also teach digital SAT-specific skills, including efficient Desmos calculator techniques, time-management strategies, and personalized study plans based on each student’s strengths and weaknesses. My goal is not only to help students improve their scores, but to help them understand the test well enough to approach it with confidence on exam day.
I would love the opportunity to help you reach your academic goals!
