Hello! My name is Sneha, and I am an incoming medical student with a strong passion for teaching and mentoring students in STEM subjects. My tutoring experience began in high school, where I worked one-on-one with elementary school students in math, science, and reading from my sophomore through senior year. Through these experiences, I developed an appreciation for adapting lessons to different learning styles and helping students build confidence alongside academic skills. I enjoy creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, working through challenges, and developing a genuine understanding of the material.
Throughout college, I continued tutoring for over three years, primarily working with pre-med and undergraduate students in Organic Chemistry, General Chemistry, Biology, Genetics, Cell Biology, and Biochemistry. I also served as an Organic Chemistry Teaching Assistant, where I supported students during office hours, answered questions, and helped break down difficult concepts into manageable steps. Working with students at different academic levels has strengthened my ability to explain complex topics clearly, identify areas of confusion, and tailor my teaching approach to meet each student's individual needs and goals.
My tutoring philosophy centers on active learning, critical thinking, and long-term academic growth. Rather than focusing solely on memorization, I help students understand the underlying concepts so they can confidently apply their knowledge to new problems and exams. As someone who has successfully navigated rigorous science coursework and is now entering medical school, I understand both the challenges and rewards of mastering difficult subjects. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades and performance but also to build their confidence, study skills, and independence as learners. I look forward to helping students achieve their academic goals and discover that challenging subjects can become approachable and even enjoyable wit
