Hi there! I’m a 15-year HR professional with a passion for helping students connect what they learn in class to how things really work in the business world. I earned my Bachelor’s in Human Resource Management and Organizational Behavior from the University of North Texas and my Master’s in Human Resource Development and Training from Amberton University. I also hold a SHRM-CP certification and have spent much of my career teaching and mentoring others.
Over the years, I’ve led corporate trainings on HR fundamentals, performance management, coaching, leadership development, and employment law. I’ve been a guest speaker at the University of North Texas and a mentor through SHRM’s national mentorship program, supporting students and early-career professionals as they grow their confidence and skills.
My tutoring approach is conversational, practical, and rooted in real-world experience. I believe the best learning happens through discussion when we connect theory to real situations and explore multiple ways to reach the same outcome. I’ve worked in manufacturing, tech, aviation, the elevator industry, and mergers and acquisitions, and I love bringing those diverse experiences into each lesson.
