It is an honor to be a teacher. I believe that when a child learns how to learn, they will be successful in school. Life-long learning is the experience I always give to all my students. Tutoring is a wonderful opportunity to help students see why what they need to learn and understand how it will help them in their future. Tutoring offers time to explain the lesson to the student and discuss issues that may be keeping them from understanding. Two-way communication is great in tutoring. Students in my tutoring sessions like the way I give ownership to them for what they are learning. Students are involved with learning process during tutoring from start to finish.
My technical skills help me be a well-organized tutor. I am able to use technology to present lessons in a manner that students can see the process necessary to achieve success with learning projects. Visual aids such as drawing helps student explain what they need to learn. Critical thinking and communication skills helps with strategic planning to carry out the assigned projects. Creativity is another asset that I use to bring out the thoughts of students on whatever project is assigned. I work with school assignments and present my own assessments to have record of growth and improvements.
I am an Educator who will help each student I work with find their own strong learning areas. I like to take what is their favorite things to do and use it to help them learn. I believe every student is able to learn. Eve
