About Reese

Bio

Hi! My name is Reese, and I'm a recent college graduate from Texas A&M University. I majored in aerospace engineering with a minor in mathematics, before that I was my high school valedictorian. I've always loved tutoring people and being able to educate them about all kinds of math and science. It's really fun for me to break down a topic I know and get someone else to comprehend some equation or strategy- plus, it helps me keep sharp on those topics myself!

I've always loved tutoring people and being able to educate them about all kinds of math and science. I'm available for high school and college math and science tutoring, as well as SAT/ACT or SAT Subject Test tutoring (1550 SAT score, perfect in Math, 800 Math Subject Test score, and 35 ACT superscore). I have experience tutoring before as well; I ran my own local tutoring service in between high school and college, and I also tutored at Mathnasium one summer break in college. Feel free to contact me with any additional questions or to schedule a lesson!

ACT Math

ACT Math

I took the ACT around 8 times, starting 5th grade as part of a talent identification program until around 10th grade where I had the scores I felt were sufficient. I scored a composite 34 three times, with my highest Math score being a perfect 36.
Calculus

Calculus

As part of my studies for my aerospace engineering degree, I had to take college-level calculus courses. I did well in all of them, making an A in Calculus I, an A in Calculus II, and a B in Calculus III. I also took AP Calculus AB in high school, and got an A.
Differential Equations

Differential Equations

During college, I had to take differential equations as part of my degree program and got an A. I also have extensive experience using differential equations in PID controller design.
Linear Algebra

Linear Algebra

As an optional elective to receive my minor in mathematics, I took Linear Algebra in undergraduate college and got an A.
SAT Math

SAT Math

I've taken a lot of SAT Math exams. I started taking SATs in 7th grade, and finished taking them in 11th grade after getting a sufficient score. I received multiple scores above 1500, including multiple perfect Math scores, and also had perfect scores on the PSAT Math as well. Because of this, I was able to become a National Merit Scholar and receive the National Merit scholarship. I also have taken the SAT Math II exam and gotten a perfect score there as well. Finally, I have designed some of my own study tactics and ways of approaching the SAT Math exams that I believe are very beneficial to improving one's score.
