I have been teaching Bible to students for over 30 years. I have taken multiple college course in theology to increase my understanding of scripture. I read an extensive amount of literature to continually gain a comprehensive Biblical Worldview . Biblical compassion and mercy are my life lens.

For over 20 years I have worked with homeschool students ranging in age from 2-18. Some of my students and I have had the opportunity to partner, for consecutive years, while they achieved multiple grade levels. I am cognizant of their unique challenges and opportunities across the academic spectrum.

I have been tutoring reading for over twenty years. Making the journey through the written word come to life is one of my favorite things to do with my students. I work with dyslexic students as well as advanced readers wishing to excel. I often incorporate writing and public speaking as a means of enhancing the reading experience.

Social studies is an integral part of the young student’s academic experience. It allows the student to understand the physical world around them. In addition, knowing the history of the United States, with all of its diversity, encourages the student to be a kind and observant citizen.

I have been tutoring writing for 20+ years, with great success. I have students who are now excelling in a writing intensive college environment. I believe the writing experience truly comes to life with an energetic, creative tutor who coaches and cheers for the student. The necessity of the written word to academic success becomes most apparent anytime between 4- 8 grade. However the sooner a student reaches for writing success—the better. I look forward to coming alongside your student with a happy positivity as soon as possible.
