Hi, my name is Chloe and I’m a college student transferring to UTD in the fall. I’m part of the Phi Theta Kappa organization and I play tennis for my college but in my spare time I tutor middle school students. I have worked with six students this year and we have covered the usual subjects as well as learning to adjust to online learning. I aim to a firm but fun tutor and I believe in taking frequent breaks so that my student’s attention doesn’t wander. I also believe in encouraging critical thinking as it can be applied in every school subject and beyond.
Reading has always been a passion of mine and I aim to instill this enthusiasm for knowledge in my students.
I have lived in travelled to other countries and continents and feel that this hands-on experience gives me an edge in World History. Furthermore, I feel that History is best taught through videos and story-telling and this unique approach helps my students engage with the material.
I have played tennis for over a decade and I also play tennis on a scholarship for my Junior College. I love working with kids and teaching them the basics of this great game.
Please contact me for more information and I’ll get back to you as soon as possible. I’m happy to answer any queries or questions!
