Hi! I'm a UNT graduate with a B.A. in Biology. I'm currently teaching eighth-grade Science. Tutoring never feels like a job to me; I find so much joy in helping children and older students learn and grow. I understand what it feels like to go through school feeling like no one is helping you with your schoolwork, so I love to do everything I can to help students.

Tutoring never feels like a job to me; I find so much joy in helping children and older students learn and grow. I understand what it feels like to go through school feeling like no one is helping you with your schoolwork, so I love to do everything I can to help students.

I am comfortable teaching most math courses, from elementary math to more advanced mathematics courses including Algebra, Pre-Calculus, and Geometry.

I love to read, in any genre, but especially the classics. I have experience reading dozens of AP novels as well as college-level literature, but also enjoy reading nonfiction and young adult fiction for fun. I have been writing for a long time, and am currently working on my first novel. Before, I spent most of my time publishing articles, but am excited to try something new with more creative writing.

I have studied music since the age of five, and now play multiple instruments including piano, trombone, euphonium, guitar, and vocals. I have studied music theory beginning at the age of five as well, so I am comfortable tutoring in that subject. I am comfortable teaching beginner lessons for piano.

Please reach out to me if you need any help! My rates are flexible, I'd love to work with you! Thanks!

Excellent tutor in many subjects

Addison is a fantastic tutor. She is always well prepared and responds to children of different ages with impressive patience and care. Addison started teaching our child Elementary Math — then when we realized how great a tutor she is we asked her to add Pre-Algebra, Chemistry, Music Theory and Reading/Writing. Highly recommended!

Great teacher and really connected with my son.

First time on this app. I had a wonderful experience working with Addison. She made my son’s experience fun and easy. The fact that she knows so much about the subject we were working on was a big bonus.

Prepared Expert

She is prepared and focused, brings positive energy, is constructive in her interactions, builds our student without false praise, establishes trust, and has made a meaningful impact in our child's education journey. We are very thankful to have found her. We hired her to teach our 10 year old boy how to improve his writing skills.

pre ap chemistry

First night and my daughter said she learned more from Addison than her chemistry teacher. Even though my daughter doesn't do well online. Addison was great with her and we will differently get more tutoring.

Knowledgeable, patient, kind, and fun tutor

Addison was a great teacher. She was very kind and patient and makes learning fun. We are lucky we found her! She takes ideas and runs with them and explains things clearly. Thank you, Addison!

Very intelligent tutor

She breaks down a lot of math problems to where it’s easy to remember and not get nervous about! She has a lot of tricks and those tricks makes a lot of sense when she explains it
