She left me with some homework, which I greatly appreciate, and it’s helped to keep everything fresh in my mind. I’ll definitely keep coming to her for lessons.
I taught digital photography basics thru advanced, food, street, and night photography, as well as Photoshop, at The University of Nevada Las Vegas for 4.5 years. I taught photography at the College of Southern Nevada for 1 year. Prior to teaching at UNLV, I taught photography classes at Collin College in Plano, Texas for 4.5 years. Just do it - you won't regret it!!!
When I found Vernetta online I thought she did in person sessions (which was what I was looking for) but when I realized she was online - I decided to take the chance because her energy seemed great! Boy, am I happy I did - I have only had 2 lessons - but I have already learned so much - I am a thousand times better with my camera! I was honestly a complete beginner before my first lesson. Getting personal lessons for me has been such a game changer after trying to learn through a couple of online courses. Also, it is just getting more and more fun everytime!! All because of Vernetta and what a great teacher she is! Just do it!

Again, I wouldn’t want any other tutor in the world to teach me photography. Mrs V is has been patient and rooting for me each step of the way ever since I started tutoring with her In November of 2021. Anything you need to learn, she will guide you on where you need to be in due time. The most important thing about her is that she is herself. She is still teaching me new things each session we have

I have been seeing Ms. V for several sessions now and we do online lessons for now and every single lesson has been fantastic and I have learned more than I ever thought was even possible. I’m no spring chicken! But Ms. V is the greatest tutor and I am beyond grateful for her and I sure wish I had better words to describe her! Just light and sweet and smart and receptive and she listens so well and designs my lessons to make sure we’re going in the direction that I want to take my business. I would recommend her to anyone who asked.

Great choice!
I couldn’t be more pleased with my tutoring session with Vernetta. Very knowledgeable about photography, and her work is phenomenal! I hired Vernetta to teach me product photography for my retail business. I love her teaching techniques, she made it easy for me to understand, as photography is new for me. It also helps that she has a great personality. I extended my sessions to both online and in-person. I’m looking forward to our next session!
