I recently graduated summa cum laude from Xavier University of Louisiana in 2025 as a Biochemistry major with honors in Chemistry. I finished with a 3.9 GPA and am currently in my gap year, during which I have been applying to medical school while gaining additional experience as a medical assistant. I plan to attend UT Southwestern this fall.
During college, I gained extensive experience tutoring my peers in a variety of STEM courses. I strive to meet students where they are and adapt how I present information to support their learning most effectively. I also led a chemistry-focused community service program, where I tutored high school students for approximately three years. I enjoy helping students achieve breakthroughs by addressing gaps in their understanding—not only by clarifying concepts but also by strengthening critical thinking skills that will benefit them long term. I am available to tutor subjects in which I earned an A, including (but not limited to) chemistry, biology, biochemistry, and organic chemistry.
Additionally, having applied to medical school during the 2025–2026 cycle, I can offer valuable insight to students interested in pursuing a similar path. I received over 10 interview invitations from multiple top-20 medical schools, including UCSF, UT Southwestern, Baylor, and Emory. I am happy to provide guidance on any aspect of the application process, including interview preparation, primary and secondary application strategy, and essay review.
