I’m a graduate of the Yale School of Music with a Master of Music in Piano Performance, and I also hold dual bachelor’s degrees in Piano Performance and Economics from Northwestern University. Over the years, I’ve gained extensive performance experience—both during my studies and through international festivals and competitions. I’m a laureate of the MTNA National Competition and the Hilton Head International Piano Competition, and I’ve performed solo recitals at the Bergen Music Festival (Netherlands) and concertos with the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, among others. My principal teachers include Boris Berman, Melvin Chen, James Giles, and Yifan Liu.

I offer classical piano instruction for all levels—from absolute beginners to advanced students preparing for auditions or competitions. With a strong foundation in classical technique and repertoire, I tailor each lesson to meet your personal goals, whether you’re aiming for conservatory training or simply want to deepen your enjoyment of music.

In addition to classical training, I’m passionate about improvisation, composition, and playing by ear. Though self-taught in these areas, I’ve developed a flexible, intuitive approach to helping students unlock their creativity. I offer instruction in these skills up to the beginner-intermediate level, drawing from a range of styles including jazz, pop, and contemporary classical. I also incorporate music theory to help students better understand what they’re hearing and playing.

Whether you’re just starting your musical journey or looking to refine your artistry, I’m here to help you grow.
