Thank you for taking the time to review my profile. I am so grateful for your child and to help fulfill their educational needs. Children are amazing, brilliant, and full of potential just waiting to be tapped. Do believe have embraced my calling with grace. My teaching experience includes intermediate and primary grade levels. I have a passion for teaching children and helping them be the best they can be. Have had the privilege of students with special needs including learning or behavior disabilities. I also incorporate many intervention/enrichment activities for my students of all skill levels. I maintain an organized, structured, flexible environment to enhance and engage students’ learning within a positive setting. Also, greatly enjoy those Aha! moments that students feel when they accomplish a skill.

My previous certifications and classroom experience include Florida Professional Certified in Elementary Education K-6 th grade (expired) and Texas Certified in Elementary Education EC-6 th Grade General Education, Special Education, ESL (expired). I was a classroom teacher for 12 years, in 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade. I taught from school years 2013 until 2020, several of those years in collaborative classroom setting including students with special needs (learning and behavior
disabilities). I was a substitute teacher for 3 years during college including 1 year of substitute teaching for student teaching requirement. Eventually, I retired to be a tutor to continue my passion for teaching children/ education.

I graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a 4-year Bachelor’s degree in elementary education.
