I am a certified grade 7-12 History teacher with a teaching background in Economics, U.S. History, and World History. I am also an experienced Reading/Literacy Coach. I have worked with children of all age groups. Ensuring my students' academic success is my highest priority. I recently moved from TN to Texas. My students consistently have a 98- 99.2% pass rate for the End Of Course History Exam administered by the State.

I have completed coursework at the University of Memphis to be a certified literacy coach/reading specialist. I have experience tutoring youth of all ages in reading and reading comprehension. I use a variety of strategies to help students grasp the material and become better writers.
