I'm an experienced Latin teacher and tutor and have worked with Latin students throughout the Houston area, ranging from elementary school all the way to adults studying Latin on their own, but mostly working with high school students. I have a BA in Classical Languages (Greek and Latin) from Trinity University in San Antonio, as well as an MA in Classics from UCLA. In addition to my tutoring, I have taught Greek and Latin at the university level. As a lover of language in all its forms, I enjoy working with students to discover the joys of the Latin language itself, as well as the wealth of material of literary and historical significance that becomes available in its original language.

I have a BA in Classical Languages (Greek and Latin) from Trinity University and an MA in Classics from UCLA. While I have several years of experience tutoring Latin, my Greek tutoring history is more limited, as there is unfortunately not as great a demand for Ancient Greek. I have taught a year of intermediate Greek at the University of Houston, where I worked with a small group of students, including both instruction in Greek grammar and a good deal of translation from Greek into English. This small class environment mimicked tutoring in a lot of ways, as I was able to work essentially one-on-one, with only five students enrolled in the class.

I have a BA in Classical Languages from Trinity University and an MA in Classics from UCLA. I've taught first year Latin at both UCLA and the University of Houston, as well as teaching second year Greek at UH. In terms of tutoring, I've been working as a Latin tutor in Houston for the past two years, working mostly with students in junior high and high school, helping them develop a deeper understanding of Latin grammar and how they can use the tools that a Latin sentence provides them to discover its meaning.
