As a Master Tutor at the Academic Assistance and Resource Center, I worked one-on-one and in small groups with students in courses such as algebra, geometry, and calculus. I gained experience supporting learners of different ages and backgrounds, including students with disabilities, by adapting explanations to individual needs and breaking down complex material into manageable steps.
Beyond subject knowledge, I emphasize problem-solving strategies, study skills, and confidence building. My goal is to help students move past memorization toward genuine understanding, giving them the tools to succeed independently.
