I have taught engineering and computer science subjects to BS and MS/MBA students in leading universities in USA (MTU, FIU) and India (IIT, VIT, BITS, Loyola). I have been a tutor for English, math, pre-calculus, calculus, algebra, trigonometry to BS and high school students for 20+ years. My private tutoring classes had groups of 3 - 4 students and one-on-one. I bring fun to the classes with interesting anecdotes/trivia/facts. For math problems, I use effective analogies to real world situations so that students can easily relate to and remember. I emphasize fundamental concepts and laying a solid foundation. ‘Practice makes a man perfect’. So, I give homework.
I have travelled well and enjoy interacting with people from diverse cultures. Each student has his/her own pace, approach, and style of learning. I tailor my classes to suit the strengths, likes, background, and personality of the student. I know that ‘No one size fits all’. I encourage students to ask questions. I instill confidence and create independent and successful learners. As a mentor for school, undergraduate and graduate students, both parents and institutions have applauded my services.
