I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in English from Texas Tech University, and a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lubbock Christian University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas, with several years of experience providing individualized support, coaching, and teaching in both academic and clinical contexts. My educational background has given me a strong foundation in human development, learning theory, and effective study strategies, which I use to help students build confidence and master material in a way that fits their unique learning style.

In my professional work, I have taught and guided children, adolescents, and adults in one-on-one and group settings. I have experience helping elementary and middle school students strengthen reading, writing, and study skills, as well as guiding college students through psychology coursework, essay writing, and test preparation. My approach is patient, encouraging, and interactive—I break down complex ideas into clear, manageable steps and use examples that make concepts come alive. Over the years, I have worked with students of all ages and backgrounds, tailoring my methods to meet each learner’s needs and goals.

I also believe in supporting the whole student, not just their academic performance. Drawing from my counseling background, I emphasize organization, time management, and self-confidence alongside subject-specific skills.
