I am a certified Texas Secondary ELAR (7–12) educator with a strong academic foundation in English and communications, supported by my degree in public relations. My certification has equipped me to teach reading comprehension, academic writing, grammar, and literary analysis at the high school level. I am also familiar with Texas standards, including STAAR preparation, and I am passionate about helping students strengthen both their skills and their confidence in English Language Arts.

I have several years of experience teaching in a traditional classroom setting, where I worked exclusively with high school students from diverse academic backgrounds. During this time, I created and delivered engaging lessons, differentiated instruction to meet a wide range of learning needs, and provided targeted support for students who needed additional help. I also worked with students in smaller group and one-on-one settings, focusing on areas such as essay writing, reading comprehension, and test preparation.

My teaching approach focuses on clarity, encouragement, and real-world application. I break down complex concepts into simple, manageable steps and create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable learning and asking questions. By building strong relationships and adapting to each student’s learning style, I help high school students grow academically while developing skills that will support them beyond the classroom.
