I am an experienced Texas educator with over 25 years in public education, holding master's degrees in Special Education and Educational Leadership, along with specialized certifications in ADHD coaching and dyslexia coaching.

My career began in the classroom, where I spent more than a decade teaching as both a general education and special education teacher in elementary and middle school settings. I provided instruction in whole-class, small-group, and one-on-one environments, supporting students with varying degrees of academic and behavioral challenges.

I later served as a special education facilitator and campus administrator, including roles as assistant principal and principal, where I supported instructional practices, student interventions, and collaboration with families school wide. As a special education facilitator, where I facilitated IEP meetings and supported teachers and families in implementing services aligned with formal evaluation results and individual learning profiles.

Across all roles, I have worked closely with students with varying degrees of academic and behavior challenges. In addition to my professional background, I am also a parent of neurodivergent children, and this lived experience brings a layer of empathy and perspective to my work.

My tutoring experience began with students ages six through fourteen and has expanded to include college students and adults. I currently support individuals with a variety of academic and behavioral needs that extend beyond subject-level instruction. My work helps learners feel less overwhelmed while building essential life skills such as planning, organization, prioritization, and time management. I also support self-regulation, motivation, problem-solving, and resilience.

Together, these integrated approaches strengthen focus, task initiation, and emotional management, helping learners build confidence, independence, and reduced stress for academic success and overall well-being.
