Born and raised in France, I obtained my French "baccalauréat" in La Source, France. I later obtained my BA of Arts (in French and Spanish) from SMU, Texas, and my Teaching Certification from Texas A&M Commerce. I have taught French at Dallas International School (IB track), and at Trinity Christian Academy (AP). While teaching, I tutored both my own students, and other students. When Covid-19 started, and my campus had to close, I conveyed content to my students remotely.

My daughter struggled with verb conjugation her Freshman year, but over the summer Benedicte has improved both her understanding of French AND she has helped my daughter build confidence she lacked before tutoring. Really great French tutor who makes learning fun
I'm a sophomore in high school who wanted to get more practice and help outside of school in French. I've found it a challenging subject. I've been working with Madame Benedicte for 6 months and so far, and I've had a lot of fun. She has worked with me on a wide variety of subjects in grammar as well as French culture. Some examples are verb tenses, object pronouns, important french holidays and current events. And, just speaking french and practicing with her is hugely helpful. Doing it over zoom is also extremely convenient and this method is more affordable for our family too. I highly recommend! Working with Madame Benedicte has been extremely beneficial to my proficiency in class and has helped me a lot with speaking and making conversation in French. She is very flexible with the topics she teaches and is much more helpful than past tutors I've had. I have a lot of fun learning about French culture and discussing current news and she makes it easy to review past subjects I need help on. I would definitely recommend Madame Benedicte, especially if you need help with practicing topics you're learning in class or exploring beyond them.
