In addition to classroom teaching, I’ve served as a team leader for two years, collaborating with colleagues to align instruction, mentor new teachers, and support school-wide initiatives. I was honored to receive the STAR Polisher Award, a recognition given to educators who go above and beyond to support student growth and foster a positive school environment. I’ve also worked with students one-on-one and in small groups for intervention and tutoring, using individualized strategies to boost comprehension, engagement, and confidence. My approach is structured, supportive, and adaptable to each learner’s unique needs.
I am well-versed in virtual teaching tools such as Google Classroom, IXL, and other digital platforms that support blended and remote learning. Whether working in-person or online, I strive to create a learning space that is organized, encouraging, and student-centered.
