With over 16 years of experience as a Special Education Teacher, I've dedicated my career to making learning an exciting adventure. Along the way, I've earned certifications in ESL, Dyslexia therapy, and specialized training to support students with ADHD.
I graduated from Governor State University with a degree in Liberal Arts and have had the privilege of teaching students from Pre-K to 12th grade. For the past decade, I've focused on empowering elementary and middle school students, particularly in reading and math. I believe that learning should be fun, engaging, and deeply connected to real-life experiences.
My approach has helped students make significant gains in their math and reading skills, and I've also played a role in boosting their STAAR scores. I'm proud to see my students achieve success and grow in their academic journeys.
I prefer online tutoring for its flexibility, but I'm also available for in-person sessions with the necessary COVID-19 precautions in place.
