I grew up in IL and graduated from Lake Park High School as the #2 student (650+ students in graduating class) with 5.5 out of 5.0 GPA. I took many honors and AP classes, and had top scores on the ACT, SAT tests, and AP Exams- recognized 31 college credits from AP exams before dual credits were common. I earned a full academic scholarship to Michigan State University and graduated with top honors (3.98 out of 4.0 GPA) with Finance degree and International Business in 2007. I tutored accounting, economics, math, and finance while at MSU and have a passion for teaching others.

In 2022, I relocated to McKinney, TX and look forward to continuing to tutor here.

I have worked for over 15 years in the investment & corporate banking/ portfolio management industry, and recently switched to part-time employment as I have young children at home. This has allowed me to take on more students to tutor and I look forward to sharing with you what I have learned to help you love academics and to succeed. I am on the judges panel scholarship essay board of my local elementary school, have read numerous essays, and know what to look for in strong essays. Accounting and Economics were easy subjects for me to pick up in school and I have learned many shortcuts and tips to help you understand the basics of algebra and beyond. I am patient, understanding, and have a solid grasp of the elementary school through University level and graduate school subjects.

In 2009 and 2010, I was invited to represent the United States at China's International Camps specializing in folk dance and kung fu.
