I tutor all levels of math through 3rd-year college mathematics. I like to focus on calculus.

I love teaching students that really want to learn and have set a goal, but are either behind or are not connecting with their teachers. Math can be easy and fun when you understand the key concepts.

My teaching style is to ask my students focused on questions that cause them to think, then determine the correct answers for themselves. I then like to show multiple ways to solve the same problem and how to verify the answer as being correct. This is the difference between a 'B' student and an 'A' student. I also believe in teaching how covered math concepts apply to our everyday lives.

I tutor my students remotely or from my Home office in McKinney, TX.

Linear Algebra,

Linear Algebra

I studied linear algebra at BYU While earning my MS degree in electrical engineering with a minor in mathematics. I passed the course with an A. Electrical engineers use linear equations frequently to solve for currents and voltages in circuit equations. To stay current I have been tutoring college students in linear algebra.
Logic,

Logic

As an Electrical Engineer I mastered logical circuit design. This includes Boolean algebra, K-Maps, and circuit design. I also took an undergraduate "Introduction to Logic" course in college on how to diagram English sentances and paragraphs, then proove if the logic was sound or not. I got an 'A'.

Crash course on Boolean Algebra

Harold gave me a crash course on boolean algebra. Everything was laid out very clearly and efficiently. We did progressively more difficult problems until I felt like I had a solid foundation for this. Everything that needed visualization was easily done using the whiteboard, and I have great notes for further use should I need them. If you need a tutor for boolean algebra, I highly recommend booking a session with Harold. It saved me days of study.
