Hi, I’m Ericca E.—a certified educator with a Master’s degree in Special Education, a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education (EC–6), and ESL certification from Dallas Baptist University. I have over six years of classroom and small-group teaching experience and work with students of all ages to build strong academic skills, confidence, and independence.

I provide tutoring across multiple subject areas, with a particular strength in math, early literacy, and foundational skills. I support students at a wide range of levels—from elementary through secondary—by breaking down concepts, reteaching material in clear and approachable ways, and helping learners truly understand why strategies work. Whether a student needs help catching up, staying on grade level, or moving ahead, I tailor instruction to meet their individual goals.

In addition to general tutoring, I bring extensive experience supporting students with IEPs, 504 plans, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and multilingual learners. This background allows me to differentiate instruction effectively, use proven strategies, and adapt lessons to fit a variety of learning styles—benefits that support all learners, not just those with formal plans.

I believe strong relationships are the foundation of meaningful learning. I take time to get to know each student’s strengths, interests, and needs so they feel comfortable, supported, and motivated. I also value communication with families and work collaboratively to ensure tutoring aligns with classroom expectations and long-term goals.

My goal is not just academic improvement, but helping students build confidence, problem-solving skills, and a positive mindset toward learning. If you’re looking for a knowledgeable, patient tutor who can support any subject, any age, and adapt instruction to fit your child’s needs, I would love to work with you.
