I have always been passionate about education and mentorship, and my diverse experiences as a teacher and mentor have equipped me to effectively tutor students in a variety of levels in mathematics. I hold a degree in Neuroscience from UTD, which has provided me with a strong foundation in mathematics from elementary through high school. My academic background involved competing in math competitions and taking advanced math classes since the age of elementary school.
Over the years, from middle school onwards, I have worked with students ranging from elementary school to undergraduate levels, both in one-on-one settings and in small groups. As a mentor, I teach them fundamental skills that can be applicable through various difficulties, and I focus on ensuring my students understand the concepts they learn rather than simply memorizing. As a medical student, I have provided academic support to my peers, helping them tackle complex medical concepts by breaking down topics into manageable, relatable components.
My approach to tutoring focuses on tailoring each session to meet the unique needs of every student. I believe in creating a supportive and encouraging atmosphere where students feel comfortable asking questions and engaging actively in their learning journey. By combining clear explanations, interactive problem-solving, and practical examples, I strive to make even the most challenging subjects accessible and enjoyable. Whether I am helping a student prepare for an exam or guiding them through a tough assignment, my goal is always to empower them with the tools they need to succeed independently. I look forward to continuing to make a positive impact on the academic journeys of my students
