Hello! My name is Laura! I am from the Rio Grande Valley, in deep south Texas. I taught secondary social studies for 12 years and now work in higher education. I hold a master's degree in History with two bachelor's degrees in Anthropology and Spanish. I have conducted Ethnographic research in Anthropology in Mexico and published articles on south Texas History for the Texas State Historical Association. Currently, I am a stay-at-home mom.
