Devin is the Ideal 3D Modeling Teacher

I have now been taking lessons with Devin for several months and here's what I love about working with Devin. 1) He's able to adjust your lessons to your exact level. I have a small amount of 3D modeling experience but I still consider myself a noob in so many ways. There's so much I haven't learned and Devin is able to customize my lessons to fill in those gaps without repeating all of the things I already know. This is the number one reason that I feel tutoring is such a good fit for me. 2) Devin is a genuinely knowledgeable guy. He teaches 3D modeling professionally to college students and is just an all around talented teacher. He's not just a guy who knows 3D modeling, he's a super talented modeler who is also an experienced and capable teacher. It's the ideal mix. 3) Devin is a great guy and easy to work with. We've become friends and he's very flexible with scheduling and tailoring the lessons to exactly what interests me. It really is the perfect set up. If you're on the fence about working with Devin, just go for it. You won't regret it and he'll take you from wherever you are to wherever you want to be. I had zero affiliation or knowledge of Devin prior to signing up for his tutoring and I feel like I really lucked out in meeting and working with him. You will too.

Patient and knowledgeable

Devin has been helping me learn Fusion 360. He is very knowledgeable about the application and has helped me understand how to use the program for my specific application. I recommend Devin as a tutor as he has been very patient and laid back. he understands my specific needs for the program and has been incredibly helpful for trouble shooting.

A True C4D Wizard!

I am brand new to Cinema 4D, soliciting tutors, and Wyzant.com. I was recently tasked with creating a very precise animation, on a complex model, in a tight timeframe, with this new-to-me software. Devin came through with flexibility, patience, and a ton of grace. He recognized my knowledge level right away, met me where I was and taught from there. I was so uninformed, I didn't know the right questions to ask. Devin somehow knew exactly what I needed to know. I'm amazed how he sensed all of that quickly and through Zoom. He was sympathetic to my deadline and the level of difficulty of the project. He was willing to meet early in the morning and late at night. He took the time to share keyboard shortcuts, to explain the menus and tool functions, as well as tips and tricks only a seasoned C4D user would know. I left both one-hour sessions with a TON more knowledge than I expected to gain. Without his help, it would have taken me a good two months to get as far as I have in two days. Devin is a phenomenal teacher. If you're looking for someone patient, dependable, gracious, and a true wizard in C4D, this is your guy.

Awesome to work with

I worked with Devin in Cinema 4D on how to make Bas Reliefs work correctly. Devin not only showed me an improved workflow, but also how I can expand on the art I make utilizing a variety of free new tools that I’ve never considered before. I’m looking forward to working with him in the future to build all sorts of new things!
