I am an MD with extensive research background and international clinical and research experience. I graduated from the North Dakota State University (M.D.) and currently I am a PhD student at the same institution. During my studies, I was a Student Teaching Assistant for 5 years. At Institute of Immunology (University of Belgrade School of Medicine) I was involved in several research projects that I have been awarded for at international European conferences. My clinical and research training involved internships in Serbia, Sweden, Germany, UK and USA.
As a freshly graduated MD (top 1% of the class), I have both basic and clinical knowledge of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Chemistry. I was a Student Teaching Assistant for 5 years at University of Belgrade College of Science and there I gained a valuable experience in teaching Chemistry to students. During my international internships, I also participated in supervising younger colleagues on their rotations - I am well versed in tutoring students from different backgrounds (language, cultural...).
I enjoy talking about science in a simple and entertaining way and showing younger colleagues that science is fun!
