I recently graduated with an IB diploma from IB Lamar Academy. I had hosted a club in High School specializing in tutoring other students, and I have experience working at an international after-school learning program.
To specify, it is a program where kids are meant to self learn math and reading, so in working there I learned how to help kids understand and methodically problem-solve since they would often have issues working out different examples of each problem. I also learned what methods are most effective, as well as how to teach certain kids certain methods to maximize their understanding of the subject. Besides my experience there, I also have experience tutoring in Biology, and in Chemistry. I work especially well in one on one sessions, and with kids from K-12th.
