Hello! I’m Kacy, a certified Texas teacher with 7 years of classroom experience, primarily working with 5th through 8th grade students in public school, or private tutoring settings. I hold a bachelor’s degree in psychology, a minor in communications, and a deep passion for helping students gain both academic success and self-confidence. Whether it's preparing for the STAAR test, tackling homework, or breaking down tricky concepts, I’m here to make learning approachable, engaging, and meaningful.

I bring an upbeat and student-focused approach to every session. I love using creative methods—like building presentations or visual aids—to help students connect with the material. I specialize in novel studies, test-taking strategies, note-taking skills, and guiding students through projects or classwork they may find overwhelming. Communication was a key part of my college training, and I use that skill to explain things clearly and in a way that truly resonates with students. I also encourage independent practice during lessons so students can feel ownership over their progress.

Outside the classroom, I’ve successfully tutored students who have improved not just their grades, but also their motivation and confidence.
