Hello, my name is Kylan, and I am excited about the opportunity to work with your child as their tutor. I graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a bachelors degree in Business Administration. I have always enjoyed teaching kids since an early age, which is why I became an eighth grade math teacher last year. Despite being in my first year of teaching, I have been actively involved in tutoring since my college years back in 2020.

Becoming a teacher has enabled me to develop versatile tutoring styles that cater to different learning preferences and abilities. My tutoring style focuses on creating engaging and interactive learning experiences for children. I believe in using fun games and visual aids as effective tools to help kids grasp challenging concepts. By incorporating games, puzzles, and interactive activities into our sessions, I strive to make learning enjoyable and memorable for students. The use of visual aids such as diagrams, charts, and colorful illustrations are used to enhance comprehension and retention, making abstract ideas more tangible and accessible. Through this approach, I am able to foster a positive and stimulating learning environment where children feel motivated and empowered to explore and understand complex subjects with confidence.

My primary goal is to empower students with the skills, confidence, and enthusiasm they need to succeed academically and beyond. By fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment, my aim is to instill in my students a love for learning, critical thinking abilities, and problem-solving skills that they can apply in all areas of their lives.
