Bio

I'm Kamal! I have 6 years of tutoring and teaching experience working with students from elementary school through high school, as well as college students and adult learners. I tutor Elementary Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra I & II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Precalculus, Calculus, and SAT/ACT Math. I regularly use mathematics, logic, and analytical problem-solving in my own studies, which helps me show students not only how to solve problems, but why the concepts matter.

I'm Kamal! I have 6 years of tutoring and teaching experience working with students from elementary school through high school, as well as college students and adult learners. I tutor Elementary Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra I & II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Precalculus, Calculus, and SAT/ACT Math. I regularly use mathematics, logic, and analytical problem-solving in my own studies, which helps me show students not only how to solve problems, but why the concepts matter.

My teaching style is patient, energetic, and adaptable. I was once a struggling student myself, and I learned that sometimes the issue is not a lack of ability, but simply needing the material explained in a different way. That experience shapes how I tutor today. When a student is confused, I identify where the misunderstanding begins, break the concept into smaller steps, and explain it from different angles until we find an approach that makes sense. I use visual examples, practice problems, learn-by-doing exercises, and the Feynman Technique to help students build genuine understanding rather than rely on memorization.
