I graduated from Princeton University in May, with a degree in Public and International Affairs. Throughout University, I took classes that mainly revolved around Politics, History, Classics, and Economics, with my senior thesis combining a contemporary and historical legal analysis of the Japanese Criminal Justice System. My education prepared me with advanced reading comprehension and writing skills, as well as the power to think creatively and work well with others.

With tutoring, the bulk of my experience is based on teaching Non-native speakers how to speak English, but I historically tutored in Math, English, and Physics throughout highschool. My tutoring style is similar to Driver's ed. I sit in the passenger seat with the necessary tools, but I let you sit in the driver's seat and express to me what your goals are, what your starting position is, and what you have done that has worked, and what hasn't. From there, I outline our joint approach to your problems in a subject, prioritizing tools that resonate with you for extended memory retention, and to make the skills you gain become a part of your second nature. I want you to build on what you learn because it makes sense to you, so I like to know your interests, and hobbies and try to intertwine your understanding of academics with those.

I typically have worked in one on one tutoring experiences, which I find allows me to develop a positive connection with the person I'm tutoring. This increases the trust that you have in me to provide you with the right tools and answers. I have taught kids as young as middle school and high school, to adults in their 60s. I feel comfortable working with all ages, and never feel deterred by differing backgrounds or levels of experience.
