Ever since the age of 14, I had a passion to educate others. It began with me teaching my peers dances and as an adult, it evolved with me teaching children and young adults praise dance. I also attracted people who wanted advice for life. Due to my enjoyment for encouraging and motivating people, I pursued a Bachelor's degree at University of North Texas in Psychology. I developed an interest in counseling and in order to be a counselor, I was required to pursue my teacher's certification. I earned my Master's Degree at Texas Tech University in elementary education as well as my teacher's certification. I remained in the teaching field ever since... I have been teaching in school districts for almost 20 years. I have worked with students of of all ages k-12 and special needs. Tutoring has taken place throughout my teaching years. Last Spring, right before Covit-19, I was hired at Wester Elementary as a writing interventionist. Now I am seeking to continue helping not only struggling writers but struggling readers as well. My teacher's certification is K-8 English Language Arts and Reading general education. I hope to have the opportunity to teach your child. I believe in assisting children in reaching their highest academic and social potential.
I believe in quality work not quick work. I had a 9th grade math teacher who never moved on to the next math concept until everyone understood the concept he was teaching. I have developed that same value. No child left behind concept.

I recently tutored struggling 4th grade and 5th grade struggling writers before Covid-19 struck.
