I have eight years of teaching and tutoring experience in math and physics, including university teaching and one-on-one instruction. I have worked with students in SAT Math, algebra, precalculus, calculus, high school and AP Physics, college physics, and advanced math and physics courses. Some students work with me throughout a semester, while others come for focused help with homework, an upcoming exam, or a difficult topic.

I hold a master’s degrees in physics and am currently a Physics Ph.D. candidate at Texas Tech University. My coursework and research require the regular use of higher-level mathematics, including calculus, differential equations, linear algebra, statistics, and numerical methods. This background allows me to help with both the mathematical steps and the physical ideas behind a problem.

During lessons, I break difficult ideas into clear, manageable steps and explain why a method works instead of treating formulas as rules to memorize. I adjust the pace and depth to what the student needs at that moment. If an assignment or exam is approaching, we can focus directly on the relevant problems and methods. When there is more time, we can build a stronger foundation so that similar problems become easier to recognize and solve independently.

Approved Subjects

ACT Math

ACT Math

I have taught and tutored ACT Math extensively, helping many students earn scores well above the national average and reach the top score ranges, with some achieving near-perfect Math scores. The 2025 national average was 19 out of 36. I prepare students to move beyond that by identifying weak areas, explaining concepts clearly, teaching efficient ACT methods, and reviewing mistakes from timed practice. Whether your goal is to reach 27, break 32, or push toward 36, I will build each lesson around your current score and target.
ACT Science

ACT Science

I have taught and tutored ACT Science extensively, helping many students earn scores well above the national average and reach the top score ranges, with some achieving near-perfect Science scores. The 2025 national average was 19.6 out of 36. I prepare students to move beyond that by identifying weak areas, explaining concepts clearly, teaching efficient ACT methods, and reviewing mistakes from timed practice. Whether your goal is to reach 27, break 32, or push toward 36, I will build each lesson around your current score and target.
Algebra 1

Algebra 1

I am a Physics Ph.D. candidate with a master’s degree in physics and extensive experience teaching and tutoring algebra at different levels. Algebra is the foundation of the higher-level mathematics I use regularly in my research, and I have a deep understanding of both its rules and the reasoning behind them. I can help students with pre-algebra, Algebra I and II, college algebra, and algebra used in more advanced math and science courses. I teach equations, inequalities, functions, graphing, systems of equations, exponents, logarithms, polynomials, factoring, rational expressions, and word problems. I break problems into clear steps, explain why each method works, and adjust the lesson to the student’s current level. Whether a student needs immediate homework or exam help or wants to strengthen weak foundations, I focus on making algebra understandable and manageable.
Algebra 2

Algebra 2

Calculus

Calculus

I am a Physics Ph.D. candidate with a master’s degree in physics and a deep understanding of calculus developed through years of study, teaching, tutoring, and research. I regularly use calculus and other higher-level mathematics in my research, including multivariable calculus, vector calculus, differential equations, linear algebra, and numerical methods. I also have extensive experience teaching and tutoring students in AP Calculus AB and BC, Calculus I, II, and III, and related university-level mathematics. I can help with limits, derivatives, integrals, sequences and series, parametric and polar equations, partial derivatives, multiple integrals, and applications of calculus. I explain where formulas come from, connect mathematical steps to graphs and intuitive ideas, and help students recognize the most efficient approach to each problem. Lessons can focus on homework, exam preparation, or developing the deeper understanding needed to solve unfamiliar calculus problems confidently.
Linear Algebra

Linear Algebra

I am a Physics Ph.D. candidate with a master’s degree in physics and a deep understanding of linear algebra developed through years of study, teaching, tutoring, and research. I regularly use linear algebra and other higher-level mathematics in my research. I also have extensive experience teaching and tutoring students in AP Calculus AB and BC, Calculus I, II, and III, and related university-level mathematics. Physics

Physics

I am a Physics Ph.D. candidate and university physics instructor with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in physics and extensive training in higher-level mathematics. I have taught both algebra-based and calculus-based physics and can tutor students from high school and AP Physics through college courses and advanced physics topics at the graduate level. My areas include mechanics, electricity and magnetism, waves, thermodynamics, optics, modern physics, quantum mechanics, statistical mechanics, and solid-state physics. I emphasize physical intuition, clear diagrams, mathematical reasoning, and systematic problem-solving so students can approach unfamiliar problems with confidence.
SAT Math

SAT Math

I have taught and tutored SAT Math extensively, helping many students earn scores well above the national average and reach the top score ranges, with some achieving near-perfect Math scores. The 2025 national average was 508 out of 800. I prepare students to move beyond that by identifying weak areas, explaining concepts clearly, teaching efficient digital SAT methods, and reviewing mistakes from timed practice. Whether your goal is to reach 600, break 700, or push toward 800, I will build each lesson around your current score and target.
