Before medical school, I earned my biology degree and worked as an EMT. Explaining physiology to real patients under pressure set my teaching standard: if I can't make it simple, I don't understand it well enough yet, and neither will you.

Sessions run on active recall and spaced repetition, the same evidence-based methods medical students use, never passive re-reading. For MCAT students: we diagnose your weakest sections first, then combine targeted content review with passage strategy, timing drills, and a study calendar built backward from your test date. For college and high school students: I make mechanisms make sense, because material you understand is material you keep on exam day.

I went through the premed process recently, MCAT, applications, interviews, so I can advise on the whole path, not just the content. Message me with your subject, where you're stuck, and your timeline, and I'll bring a plan to the first session.

Anatomy

Anatomy

I'm a medical student at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine, currently in the full medical gross anatomy sequence — cadaveric dissection, histology, and embryology — so I'm working in this material daily at the depth your course is drawn from. Before med school: a biology degree with anatomy & physiology coursework, and years as an EMT, where anatomy wasn't trivia — it was landmarking, patient assessment, and explaining injuries to people in real time. I tutor college A&P I and II (nursing, kinesiology, pre-PT/PA/med), high school anatomy, and lab practical prep. Anatomy's real problem is volume, so my method is built for it: active recall and spaced repetition instead of re-reading, structure-function pairing so physiology carries the memorization, and clinical hooks — what breaks when this structure fails — that make terms stick. I build custom flashcard decks for muscle origins, insertions, actions, and innervations, and for practical-exam images. Tell me your course, exam date, and weakest unit, and I'll show up with a plan. Two execution notes. Phrase it "currently in," never "completed" — after Block 1 ends October 16 you update the line to "recently completed medical gross anatomy with cadaveric dissection," which is a strictly stronger claim. And if Wyzant throws a proficiency quiz at either subject during approval, take it same-day; you're not listed in that subject's search until it clears.

Very Patient, Supportive, and Nice Tutor

Caden helped me prep for my medical school interview. Since he's currently a first-year student there, he actually knew what the interview format looks like and what the school tends to focus on, which made the prep way more useful than generic advice. He ran mock interviews with me, gave honest, customized feedback after going through my entire application before the session, and helped me clean up how I talked about my own experiences so my answers came across as natural and confident. He made sure I understood every point before we moved on. I walked away from our sessions feeling a lot more comfortable and clear on how to handle the actual interview. I would highly recommend Caden for any academic or professional help.
