I have had the privilege of studying under renowned flutists such as Byron Hester, Dr. Lisa Garner Santa, Dr. Sydney Carlson.
My teaching philosophy is rooted in fostering a love for music while developing strong technical skills. I tailor each lesson to meet the individual needs and goals of my students, whether they are beginners looking to learn the basics, intermediate players seeking to refine their technique, or advanced students preparing for college auditions as well as flute competitions. I have experience teaching ages ranging from middle school, high school, college and adults!
In addition to my teaching, I have performed with the Lubbock Symphony Orchestra, the Abilene Philharmonic. I enjoy exploring a variety of musical styles, from classical to contemporary. I believe that music is a powerful form of expression and can be a source of joy and confidence for everyone.
