I am a current MD-PhD student at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) who is turning to Wyzant to supplement my graduate student stipend. I graduated summa cum laude from Baylor University (BU) with a major in Neuroscience and minors in Biochemistry and History. At TTUHSC, I have completed the first three years of medical school and am pursuing a PhD in the department of Pharmacology and Neuroscience. I have significant volunteering tutor experience from my time at BU, where I tutored both middle school students (in a variety of basic math/science topics) and fellow undergraduate students (in topics ranging from psychology/neuroscience to calculus). To be quite honest, I love to talk and I love teaching so I see tutoring as a natural way to share my knowledge and to help others to succeed.
My qualifications to tutor on a variety of science topics:
*Current MD-PhD Student (PhD in Department of Pharmacology and Neuroscience) at TTUHSC
*BS Degree in Neuroscience with minors in Biochemistry/History (summa cum laude) from BU
*521 MCAT Score (99th Percentile)
I encourage any students who are interested in pursuing a career in scientific research or medicine to contact me. I will do my best to help you ace your courses and give you whatever advice I can on your future journeys!
